What field service software actually costs
We opened the official pricing page of ten field service products on August 6, 2026 and wrote down what each one says. Where a vendor publishes nothing, the cell stays empty.
Of the ten products below, three publish no price at all and two more advertise an annual discount without showing the discounted figure. Monthly prices for the seven that do publish run from $0 to $699.

Every figure comes from the vendor's own pricing page on August 6, 2026. Blank cells mean the vendor does not publish that number. We do not estimate.
Four things this table shows that a feature comparison will not
Three vendors publish no price at all
ServiceTitan, FieldEdge and Workiz's base plans route every tier to a sales conversation. FieldEdge also states plainly that it offers no free trial, because it wants its team to walk you through onboarding first. That is a legitimate way to sell software. It is also information a buyer deserves before spending an afternoon.
Workiz stopped showing its base price
Workiz still publishes the cost of an extra seat — $55 a month on Standard, $65 on Pro. It no longer publishes what the plan itself costs. We are recording this so the date of the change is on file somewhere.
“Save 15%” without showing the result
Thryv and Kickserv both advertise an annual discount and neither prints the discounted number. Service Fusion and GorillaDesk print theirs. We leave the first two blank rather than doing the arithmetic ourselves, because that arithmetic is a guess until a receipt proves it.
The advertised discount can understate the real one
Jobber's page says “save up to 25% with annual billing.” On the Core plan the drop is $49 to $29, which is closer to 41%. On Plus at fifteen users it is about 24%. The headline fits the big plans and undersells the small ones.
What we have actually used
We signed up for ServiceM8 on 5 August 2026 and worked through the account. Three things we can
report first-hand: the trial asks for no credit card and creates no billing record, so it cannot
charge you by accident; cancelling is three clicks inside settings with no phone call; and the
account defaulted to the Australian region even though the timezone was detected correctly, which
puts an ABN field — an Australian business number — on the setup form.
We have not used the other nine. Housecall Pro and Thryv both restrict their service to US and Canadian residents in their terms, so we cannot sign up for those at all. We say so rather than writing as if we had.
